THE FIRST TANK CREWS

I am the Historian of the RTR and run the cinquenial Regimental battlefield tour at Cambrai. I recently retired and have started with others the process of planning the Regiment's 100th anniversary commemorations. This includes the production of battlefield tour briefing packs for key HBMGC and Tank Corps actions. One of the key aspects is to "populate" these briefing packs with details of the crews and commanders who fought these actions since this helps to bring to life the descriptions.
