Walter Atkins- D20 Daphne
Walter was a gunner in D2) Daphne which fought at Martinpuich on 15 Sep 16. He was wounded in the shoulder when the tank had returned to its start point to refuel and take on more ammunition. He made a full recovery but died whilst undergoing an operation at Bovington on 9 Feb 17. He is buried at Foleshill United Reform church in Coventry
