Horace Allebone - D12
Horace was the director of a boot manufacturing company before he volunteered to join the MGC. He was awarded two certificates of honour in 1917, one for driving his tank during the Battle of Arras and the other for bravery at Poelkappelle, during the Battle of Ypres in Oct 1817. Hhe was killed in action during the attack on Flesquieres on 20 Nov 1917.
