A scratch built tank -H 41 (Horsa) that belonged to Captain R G Davis MC who was commandre of 9 Section, 24 Coy at Cambrai. He was awarded the Military Cross for his actions during the battle. 2/Lt (T/Capt) Reginald Graham Davis, Middx R and Tank Corps "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. When his tank broke down it was surrounded by the enemy and three of the gunners were wounded. When the enemy had been driven off, he went on foot and brought two gunners from another tank to replace the casualties. He also went on foot to the assistance of another tank which had broken down. He set a splendid example of courage and contempt of danger" LG 18 July 1918.
